Its all turnout... If you can motivate the 12% to show up in droves - as happened in 2008 - the 12% can make a big difference. That is, in an off-year election probably only ~30% of the 72% will vote; and if you can convince 80% of the 12% to vote - it makes a big difference.
Thus the Media and Dems will do whatever they can to scare/motivate/exhort their dedicated cadre to show up and vote, and they'll do their best to discourage Conservative voters from voting. This has always been part of their game plan - as was so plainly evident in 2000 when they 'prematurely' called the Florida election for Gore - in order to discourage the Western Panhandle from voting... Almost worked too... Beware of the commie tricks - just vote.
You know, negative statistics are bad enough in the black community without folks on our side throwing out false data like that.
It's true that blacks are over-represented in the prison population, relative to their overall percentage of the general population, but it's not true that "most" are in prison.
You give ammo to the haters on the left by making statements like that. They love to throw crap like that back in our faces.

Blacks are concentrated in Minority-Majority districts, Great Society idiocy invented by Dems to ensure Blacks get elected to Congress.
The problem for them is, when they are in the Black districts, like FL-3 and electing fool Corinne Brown. they are not voting in FL-8, helping the wacko Alan Grayson.

this is fascinating wishful thinking, especially for House seats. Black leaders got what they wanted ... black districts, represented by black Democrat congressmen. So, they will hold them. No one ever expected anything else.
This scenario takes place in one such district. PG county, MD, outside Washington DC. It’s constituency probably comprises the largest, wealthiest, best educated of all such “black” districts. Its Congressman is Albert Wynn. There was never even consideration that he would lose his seat, so this is story is pure nonsense. It doesn’t matter if there’s 100% turnout or 5% turnout in that district. Wynn will be reelected.
Mea culpa ... I got lost in a time warp. Wynn is out and a woman named Donna Edwards is in. Same difference.
