The economy’s lack of jobs is also impacting homeless dogs and cats. There is a family whose husband has lost his job and they no longer can afford to keep their two dogs (I have offered to pay for their dog food and care but they won’t take the offer) and wish to get them to a no-kill shelter. I have been calling around but everything is full.
I would take the dogs myself but I’m all dogged out, if you know what I mean.
it did. But not ALL of us voted for either of the idiots (BO or AF).
I think it’s time to move. Thank god my house has wheels.
Tragic Minnesota ping.
Same thing is happening to horses. But there are no shelters for horses. Used to be an option to send them to a sale and maybe to slaughter. Sad but better than starving. The do-gooders got the slaughter banned so now they just starve.

Yeah, no doubt... as I recall, the mediots rediscovered the homeless back in February 2001 or so, after ignoring them for eight years...
Yep, been doing a little extra for a small shelter here, the animals are the forgotten homeless that really are in need having been raised as pets.
Yeah, but you're forgetting about the "Bush's Fault" mantra...
