The NRA is a pro-gun organization. If the Democrat is an incumbent with a consistent pro-gun voting record, vs. a Republican with no record, they will endorse him.

I won’t vote for a Democrat, even if he’s pro-gun, but I don’t object to a single-issue organization’s working on that basis.

The NRA is “single issue” but very superficial in its analysis. Pro-gun Democrats cease to be pro-gun when their votes are needed to actually pass an anti-gun bill.

“The NRA is a pro-gun organization”

Completely false. The NRA has supported every gun control legislation since it’s inception.1

The NRA recently partnered with Sen. Schumer (D-NY) and the Brady Gang on the Veterans Disbarrment Act.

Footnote: 1: “The National Rifle Association has been in support of workable, enforceable gun control legislation since its very inception in 1871.” ~ NRA Executive Vice President Franklin L. Orth
