The NRA is a single issue organization, not a support group for the Rs. They tend to support the incumbents. They are non-partisan and fully support them doing this. It makes sense.

Now, I’m in a hotly contested Representative race, and the NRA’s endorsement of the incumbent meant nothing to me.

They tend to support the incumbents.

And that, right there, is the problem.

They're not a "gun rights organization"

They're a "gun rights and professional politician protection organization".

If they want to be a "gun rights organization", the honorable and honest thing for them to do is acknowledge that in some races, "gun rights" is not a factor, and decline to issue an endorsement.

Well, the days of 'non-partisanship' are long gone.

The Democrat Party is anti-Freedom and any support of them is shortsighted and foolish.

The NRA is going to be hardpressed to find replacements for all the conservatives they have lost.
