I was pretty young. Not sure it counts, really, they misspelled my name, too.
That was an eye-opener.
So you read a quote in the paper from a guy with a name spelled differently from yours, quoted as saying something you never said.....Hmmm, do you get these feelings often that people are talking about you? ;-)

I actually agreed to an interview once, just a few years back. Fortunately, the “journalsts” from a TV station in Boston had a very small window for the interview, and I was going to be out of town on business those days.
Good thing too!
With selective editing, they eviscerated the Catholic priest in whose favor I was going to give a corroborating interview. He called me the day after the TV station aired the “interview”. He was practically in tears for the way they made him appear to say things he does not believe.
These people are despicable in every respect. I can’t think of a creature with less integrity than a MSM “journalist”.
