In a video that quickly circulated around the internet, a CBS affiliate correspondent in Chicago can be shouting down a WIND radio talk show host as he tried to ask hard-hitting questions of former White House chief of staff and current mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel.
Now, Chicago Police say that CBS2′s Jay Levine must be held responsible for threatening the radio host with physical assault and have reportedly issued a warrant for his arrest.

Nothing here...the "big boys" will soon put in the fix and the story will move back to page 20. This is just an attempt by the "Gangster", rahm to garner some publicity.

I can’t imagine anything will come of this, since Chicago is stuffed full of crooked judges and prosecutors. And I suppose the police only went with the warrant for publicity purposes, since it’s not really clear who’s guilty of what unless you watch the video.

Well, thinking it over, I would add that I believe the conjectures that Rahm was fired from the White House, and that the Powers that Be in Chicago probably don’t want him as the next Mayor.
In which case, they might not be that unwilling to hang him out to dry.
And I’m not sure that Mayor Daley is all that fond of Obama, either, after having arranged to make big money on Olympic real estate and then having the Olympics committee pull the rug out from under him and his friends. If Obama is going down, why would Daley give him a hand at this point?

The only crime is getting caught.
Pushing and Shoving happens with reporters as they jockey to get to their position. However, when it also includes a threat then it is at least assault...and should be battery.

So what constitutes a “reporter”? Obama is calling upon bloggers as reporters.
But isn’t Daley’s retirement a bit unusual. Was Daley pushed out so Rahm could run? Or would that be so Jesse Jackson, Jr could run in exchange for keeping his mouth shut in Obamagate.
America will not put up with thug stooges at this point.
But then again, this is Chicago....

On WJR radio today ( Detroit ) the on the hr news had a brief report on thte FBI in Detroit. The FBI noted they are NOT DONE with their investigations and everytime they look at it, it is like an onion and they end up having to peel back more layers.
Hmmm.... After Jan 23rd, John Conyers will not be the head of the House Judicary, I wonder what his fate will be then? :-)...
There was some talk that Daley wanted the Olympics for two reasons. One, of course, was real estate profits. But the other was to call it his goodbye present to Chicago. He’s been in power for a long time, and he may think it’s time to relax and enjoy his ill-gotten gains for a while.
Of course, I don’t know if that’s true or not. But I’m rather doubtful whether Daley is the kind of guy who would ever allow himself to be forced out.
Who would he want in his place? Evidently he hasn’t raised and groomed someone from his own family, the way his father did. But presumably someone he can trust—or blackmail—not to spill any of his own secrets.
On the face of it, it doesn’t look as if the Chicago thugs are all that fond of Rahm. I guess we’ll see in due course.
