Has green policy really been a failure though? That depends upon what the true intent was.
Those 95 US senators were totally right; twenty years of the Kyoto Protocol have brought the world twenty years of rising greenhouse gas emissions and twenty years of job migration to low wage, low regulation havens in the Third World.
If the intent was the redistribution of wealth and an economic crisis for the powerful western nations it might be seen as a success. That is the well-documented goal of socialists, communists and Progressives who were all around long before the "green movement." It dovetails nicely with a Cloward & Piven strategy.
The old time conservationist orgs like the Sierra Club document the migration of the old Communists into the conservation orgs when their Garden of Socialist Eden in the USSR collapsed and Communism for a little while fell into world disrepute. As “greenies” they don’t carry the stigma of Stalin and Mao and GULAGs and slaughter of “deviants” but they are the same people and will use the same methods when they attain the power to do so.
The Fed. Because it was going to happen anyways. The crash was inevitable given the circumstances. Bubble would have burst under Obama and the Fed was leery of his intentions. Purposeful Disaster, controlled under a known American is more acceptable than Convenient Opportunity which would present under an Obama administration.
The Fed, if culpable, did a bang up deed, dont’cha think?
