They have insider/outsider view of the world where everyone who is a worthy Mormon is part of the family and all others are mere acquaintances, spiritual prey or enemies.
Why is every time there is a crime committed against LDS they conflate us with that BS as if we would ever condone it?
You can’t just “turn off” that level of programming.
It feeds their victim mentality which in turn feeds their ‘specialness’ which in turn feeds their self-righteousness, which in turn ‘proves’ to them that ‘the church’ must be ‘true’.
Vicious cycle. Like John D. Lee, they need a scapegoat.
