Grasping to keep control of Congress, Democratic leaders are turning their backs on some of their staunchest supporters in the House and propping up stronger candidates who have routinely defied them on health care, climate change and other major issues.

Driehaus took to the liberal fundraising website ActBlue this week with his video message asking for donations to reward the difficult stances he took on key issues.
"I've taken those votes because it was the right thing to do for the American people. Now the DCCC is walking away. Let's send a message to the DCCC. Let them know that you support candidates who stand up for your principles."
As of early Saturday afternoon, the appeal had raised a grand total of $4,571.
Quite a contrast with the millions Michele Bachmann has been raising.
The Rahmadon Democrats are being tossed out. Rahm was the one who organized them to run and win on lies. Blue Dogs have been exposed as the Liberal enablers.
During the health care town halls, people were SCREAMING at the Democrats to NOT DO THIS!
Then, in March, they come back and vote on to steal our health insurance and give it away to do nothings.
Now, they won't even talk about it, campaign about it, and they wonder out loud why everyone is furious with them.
Why would the DNC abandon loyalists for “blue-dogs” who claim they’re going to oppose Democrat policies?
That of course only makes sense if the DNC knows that the “blue-dog” campaign rhetoric is just so much smoke: the usual donkey tactic of saying what you have to say to get elected, and then voting what the party tells you to vote (unless on a specific bill they’ve already got enough legislative support to give a particular “blue dog” a pass).
See that line,”only” 170 seats that routinely elect liberals.
This is why we we need the Governorships,to redistrict a few of those out of existence.
Won’t make the far left happy which is good for us.
Redistricting is the only good thing I can see in Rick Snyder winning Michigan.
I'm guessing a lot of those 170 are a result of the Voting Rights Act. Redistricting could be construed as gerrymandering.(Even though that's already the case.
Those photos of angry, fed up Americans make ME angry! Hard working folks with little time available to go to these god forsaken town halls but do it anyway for love of country. Then to be ignored. These are the people that will crawl over glass if necessary to vote Nov 2! The people in those photos represent the ones that have been paying, bleeding and fighting all their lives just to have it snatched away?! Hardly.
Our health insurance is going up $95/month courtesy Obamacare.
Repeal. Repeat. Repeal.
For now.
Exactly,it is already the case. Both sides scream about the other side when it occurs. Its an embarrassing ritual that no party comes out looking good from. Still, its a reality or as we say here at home,”it is what it is.”
That will conclude our kool-aid service and we will be stopping shortly. Will all progressive Democrats please exit the bus by the forward door and please take your place in front of the bus. We will be running over you as soon as our driver, Mr. Obama has finished taking a leak.
Thank you.
But the newly elected Pubbies better be willing to expose the "wolf" for the sake of the "flock"--and not be afraid to do so when faced with all the "pacs" that are eager to join him!
Just curious if the number 91 has any meaning to people yet? Im hoping its a number were all going to to be very focused on very soon. Anyone know why?
Heres a hint from the article: There are only about 170 congressional districts across the nation that will routinely elect liberals...
Theres a real big opportunity here folks. Real big.
My 7th grade social studies teacher in Amarillo (a dem activist) gave us a project to gerrymander Republicans out of our district. It was exactly what they were doing at the time. Very blatant. Took us a while to vote the criminals out, but we eventually prevailed.
