In 1991, career politician Daniel Webster introduced HB 593, which would have banned happy hours and drinking games in all bars in Florida. Yes, believe it or not, Daniel Webster wants to prohibit happy hour.
Congressman Grayson said, Big-Government Daniel Webster wants to keep government out of your life, unless you are working, eating, drinking, resting or sleeping.
Why does Daniel Webster want to ban happy hours in Florida? You will have to ask him.
Lame. I guess he thinks the voters are stupid. Unfortunately for him, they aren't as stupid as he is.
WOW... That is like the whale calling the elephant big.
Oh, that IS the whale calling the elephant big.
ROFLOL.
Next Grayson will inform us Webster tried to pass a law forbidding the sun to rise because....... well, just because!
I’m sure I don’t need to say this, but Alan Grayson is insane
“...which would have banned happy hours and drinking games in all bars in Florida.”
Got my vote!
Massachusetts banned happy hour years ago, along with discounts of any kind on alcohol.
Then again, Massachusetts politicians take “Nanny State” as a compliment.
Which to choose...which to choose?
If you and those who agree with you really believe that, you are making a huge mistake.
Grayson’s big mouth has gained him MILLIONS during this election cycle. It is nothing for a single anti-Republican tirade to bring $500,000 into his campaign from rich lefties. He’s found the easiest way to raise money short of counterfeiting-—SLANDER CONSERVATIVES AND REPUBLICANS.
Grayson knew he was a lucky dog to get elected from FL 8 in ‘08 and he surely realized that re-election possibilities were slim. But, when he did the “Die quickly” rant and received half a mil overnight he knew he had struck pure gold.
I’d really like to see him thoroughly audited after the election just to find out what happened to all that money.
