Mo’s harpy like bitterness is truly a wonder to behold. One has to wonder how she gets up in the morning and faces the light of day.
If I hated the world as much as she, I don’t know that I’d want to keep on living. I suppose her bitterness is what gives her life meaning, such as it is.
...Dowd once complained publically that she couldn’t get asked out on a date...is it any wonder?

I remarked on another thread about this that one of the comments to the original article hit the nail on the head when she said that liberal women are angry about being women.

If there’s anyone more unnecessary than Maureen Dowd, it’s Dana Perino, the classic RINO flak who’s overstayed her welcome, and her Administration, yet who still gets air=time,face-time, and print-time, in the now almost equally irrelevant National Review.
She's an angry liberal. I've seen blurbs from some of her articles and the pattern is always the same. An unhappy leftist who writes lots of garbage, but really at her most obnoxious when she's whining about conservatives. She pens filler most of the time to set up for what she really wants to do which is complain about Republicans.
Well, as was pointed out upthread, at least Dana is extremely pretty. It got me thinking, I've seen Dana on Fox probably a hundred times and can't remember a thing she said. I do remember that she is really pretty though.

Exactly. But I would argue with the very part. She is part of the establishment (Rove) wing of the Republican party. This election has unmasked so many of these people. Conservatives need to recognize who they are dealing with. People like Rove & Parino need to be used by conservatives in the same way they used conservatives in the past. They can be useful.
These are the same women who make fun of the sweet little old lady going to church, seeking counseling from the elders and those around her, and dropping 10% in the offering plate all the while they are dropping 10% in the shrinks bank account and seeking counsel from their like minded martini toting friends.
Would of liked to have been a fly on the wall when Douglas slipped on His new glasses and took a look at the wrinkled, fat, old booze hag chewing on a Buffalo hot wing dripping with blue cheese, droning on and on about some social injustice that was rattling around in that booze soaked noggin, and realized who and what He was sleeping with.
Yeah, and Two Kids’ Mom wouldn’t approve. But it’s still a nice thought...
