McCarthy was a disgrace - he was **way** too easy on those communist traitors. Necks should have been stretched, and the hunt needs to be resumed today. We can start by investigating those who self-identified in DC the other week as far as I’m concerned.

If the authorities want to find a few commies to lock up they don't have to mount costly investigations and raids. They can just go to the White House.
Read the extracts from the Verona Project that are direct translations from Soviet encrypted communications. Read the debriefs of Soviet defectors from the 1950s onwards. Read the Mytroken (sp?) archives based on copies of KGB archives made by their chief archivists. MI-6 used his notes to close a 40 year old spy case dealing with a Soviet mole in the British Government.
BTW - The Verona Project leadership kept the project secret from President Trueman because they KNEW he would compromise the entire program.
McCarthyism - sound like telling the truth when all of the cards are on the table not just the PC screed from the “usual suspects”.
