Actually, the Kenyan rebels called themselves Mau Mau. For a good fictional account, read “Something of Value” by Robert Ruark. Not saying it’s all that accurate, but written from a right wing viewpoint, which could still be done and published in the good old ‘50s. Ruark had spent a lot of time hunting in East Africa.
