It’s not the truth, though, and we need to have the intellectual integrity to see the difference. While the vast majority of terrorists are Muslim, there are also terrorists who are Hindu, Buddhist, and athiest. There are even those who call themselves Christian who commit terrorism.

Probably not the most popular stance you could take, but thanks for doing it. If we allow ourselves the luxury of stretching the truth—and not retracting when we are called on it—then we have little recourse against our foes when they do the same thing.
