GOP consultant Karl Rove got directly involved Friday in Hawaii's hotly contested Congressional race between Republican incumbent Rep. Charles Djou and Democrat Colleen Hanabusa.
Rove's group American Crossroads started running an ad on Hawaii television stations Friday critical of Hanabusa.
The TV commercial says, "There are problems in paradise, and Colleen Hanabusa would make things worse. Hanabusa supports Nancy Pelosi's tsunami of spending. She defends the trillion dollar health care takeover that raises our costs and cuts Medicare by over $500 billion. She has said she will support the cap and trade energy tax that will raise the cost of goods shipped to Hawaii and cost us jobs. Hawaii can't afford Hanabusa's tsunami of spending."
As a fact check, Hanabusa wrote a letter to Sen. Dan Inouye, D, on Sept. 21, 2009, to ask that Hawaii be exempted from all national Cap and Trade proposals.

So did Rove's buddy Castle!
Big deal. She'd still vote to impose it on the rest of us and Hawaii wouldn't get the exemption anyway. If this would have such a negative impact on Hawaii, why would Dems like Hanabusa impose it on the rest of us? Our goods have to be shipped by one means or another, trucks, ships, etc. too.
These Dems have been masters of pretending to be against something during the debate over these controversial bills like Obamacare, but then when it comes up for final passage they vote for it. So it would be with this Hanabusa character.
I suspect that means she was willing to vote for it as long as her constituents weren't affected.
Hawaii would have to cap their volcanoes, or pay the consequences.
All states with an active volcano will pay additional taxes to fund more research as to why volcanoes pollute so much and how we can stop this illegal activity.
Your new volcano czar has spoken, so it shall be.

When are they putting up ads for o’donnell?
