My bet is job interview. Hillery is going to quit a Sec State. Obama needs to put someone in there who can go before a very hostile Senate and get confirmed. He can't put one of his typical Chicago Communist Community Politicians (CCCP) as a the Republicans can now easily filibuster it, even if they don't get the majority.

So he hires on the RINO Rice and puts her back in secretary of state. Since she has already been Sec State under a Republican the Senate can't challenge her. Since she is a RINO she can be guaranteed to sell out the country whenever Obama demands it. And if any thing gos wrong (like Iran randomly nuking everyone in range) it is a Republican that gets the blame.

Condi is a confirmed liar, IMO. She claimed to have know information connected to terrorists using planes as weapons. She was briefed on “bjoinka” prior to 9/11. And she lied about it. Bjoinka was a thwarted effort by al queda related groups to use passenger planes as weapons in a coordinated hijack.

Don’t trust Condi.

Condi and Colin Powell both rose to prominence in fields other than civil rights advocacy. For years, most of the well know black public figures became known during the civil rights movement (and sports and entertainment). It was great that Condi and Powell rose to prominence in their respective fields, but we never really knew what their views were on many issues.

I never cease to be amazed at how a prominent person is always thought at first to be of such caliber by Freepers...and then they learn something about them.

Next to Colin Powell the most overrated person ever at Secretary of State. She actually had many on this website touting her for POTUS. You people KNOW who you are. I said at the time it was idiotic and that she should return to California and run for Senate against either Feinstein or Boxer. I guess Condi didn't want to take a pay cut. She's overrated and oversold as anyone I can remember.

As for those of you here who advocated she run for president, I'd like to say something characterizing your intelligence but I'd be censured for sure.

Before she left Foggy Bottom, Rice repeatedly said that she would not criticize publicly the people who came after her.

She makes a few bland comments about her successors and Washington Post headlines it that she is their defender.

Obama asked her in for a visit and it is spun that she supports him.

She has been nothing but polite and gracious and she has avoided politics and continues to do so.

I do wonder if O has offered her a job as part of some grand scheme that involves Hillary changing to another post in the administration. I'll be surprised if she accepts it, though, you never know.
