The surprise in this poll is the negative rating among students and 18-34 age group. This isn’t the tea party demographic. Many of these oppose his position on don’t ask, don’t tell and his failure to stick with single payer health insurance. Don’t expect that low rating to extend to Boxer. They may also have a low opinion of the health care plan as young healthy people will be carrying the load for the old and infirm.

The encouraging result for Republicans is the high number of independents with a negative opinion.

Obamacare is the common denominator. Fiorina should make Boxer the deciding vote to pass the health care plan and tie it to her like the albatross.

Meant to say “gay marriage”.

All of these Obama polls seem to have about 20% of conservatives having a positive opinion of Obama. I doubt that 1% of conservatives have a positive opinion of Obama and they reside in nut houses and aren’t available to respond to polls.

Ya’ know what? If zero isn’t leftwing enough for the young/college people, then I’m GLAD they’ll be footing the bill for us over-50s! Let ‘em reap WTF they sowed.
