Yes, that and the ‘Urban Renewal’ plan where downtown ‘flophouses’ were razed because the inhabitants were ‘unsightly’.
True in both cases and something surely had to be done, but when these two ‘shelters’ were demolished, all that was left was the street, because, in typical LIBERAL fashion they seemingly ‘correct’ a problem 1/2 way, no looking at the results of where the displaced people are to go.
The homeless, derelicts and bums etc have always been there but were ‘hidden’ from the vast majority of society.
Yes, the “will work for food” crowd who actually won’t work for food, they want cash.
