Obama Reportedly Cancels Visit to Indian Temple Over Headscarf Concerns

President Obama has canceled a visit to India's famed Golden Temple following concerns that he would have to wear a headscarf that could make him look Muslim, according to several Indian news outlets.
Though the Golden Temple is a Sikh temple -- and Sikhs are not Muslims -- the Indian Express first reported that the visit was thrown into doubt following an impasse between Obama's aides and temple authorities.
The president would have been expected to wear some kind of head cover, but the White House team ruled out a traditional headscarf. When Obama's team proposed the U.S. president wear a "modified" baseball cap, temple officials said a baseball cap would not be permitted, according to the Indian Express.

The Golden Temple

So he won’t do that, but he’ll bow to every muslim and dictator he can find?
His temple visit was orchestrated by Sikh Democrat donor Chatwal , who is involved in lot of scam.
Well, inplace of visiting Sikh temple, he can vist Hindu temple in Delhi. Or he can visit grave of two lover -Taj Mahal. Muslim ruler after construction Taj mahal chopped hands of more than 20K labor, so that they can’t replicate Taj.
It’s not because he didn’t want to wear a head covering. It’s because he hates Sihks. They historically protected India from Obama’s muslim bretheren.
Which of course is based on the firm liberal belief that "the people" are too stupid to understand.

Sikhs in temple carries knives, CIA can’t disarm them. Some carry 6inch blade knife or full sword.
Yeah - seems like a ridiculous head-fake. Doesn’t take THAT much knowledge of religion to know that Sikhs AREN’T Muslim. Geez. Are Sikhs committing terrorism around the world? I don’t think so. Are Sikhs persecuted by Muslims? Oh yeah. This isn’t about somehow wrongfully appearing Muslim - if you bow to a Saudi prince and have no intention of showing any sensitivity to Sikhs (or Jews) . . .
