I believe ACORN already existed in some form before the Rathke brothers came along. They weren’t great but they weren’t the criminal organization they are now.
Beck showed an interview with Rathke a while back where Rathke talks about going to ACORN for a job. Rathke told them that he would like to take ACORN in the direction they’re going now but was told that ACORN wasn’t about that. They hired Rathke as some sort of coordinator. As soon as they stopped watching him Rathke says he started doing as he pleased. I assume he had to eliminate a lot of people from his path along the way.
Much like Alinsky, he’s nothing more than a scam artist and wannabe thug who uses others to achieve his goals.
