MEDIA BIAS IN ACTION; CNBC'S JOHN HARWOOD
CNBC Kudlow Report 7:00PM EDT ^ | 10/21/2010 | John Harwood

Posted on 10/21/2010 7:27:53 PM PDT by Diogenez

RE John Harwood, CNBC Political Report: Tonight Harry Reed was given several minutes free reign amounting to a couple of commercials worth of national TV in which he attempted to exculpate himself re a questionable personal real estate holding and on another matter in which he failed to file proper papers with the Senate Committee on Ethics. He was then permitted to make a counter-charge of low blow by the opposition. No other countervailing view was presented.

All of Whorewoods objectivity then comes to bear when in a followup summary he backs up Harry Reed's thin explanation by telling us as fair arbiter of the facts that "apparently there was a mix up" with the papers that should have been filed with the Senate Committee overseeing such deals.

OPEN LETTER TO CNBC AND LARRY KUDLOW: I want to protest against John Harewood's bias again. CNBC and you present this guy as a reporter of news in the political sphere. I was an ad writer for 30 years so I know propaganda when I hear it. Night after night, this guy comes on with his thumb and maybe something else on the scale in behalf of progressive political figures.

Good to have somebody who is fair about such things telling us what to think about them, no?

Not to worry - CNBC has a viewership of less than 250K at peak times. Likely nobody saw this as the demo is interested in making and/or keeping money.

I think Harwood is the reporter who is oh so proud of a picture he has of himself interviewing, when he was a young “reporter” for his junior high school newspaper, Robert F. Kennedy - I change channels whenever I see him coming up for a report on CNBC - why waste my time on corrupt information.....
