Let’s not talk issues – let’s talk about how you know Steve King
The Right Scoop ^ | 10/21/10

Iowa State Attorney General incumbent Democrat Tom Miller has decided on the tactic of trying to associate his Republican opponent Brenda Findley with Rep. Steve King instead of trying to keep the debate about the issues. We’ve seen this a lot lately when Democrats can’t talk about their records of big government. Normally I would ignore stuff like this, but I liked her answer and how she hit him right back on substance.

Kind of funny how this spunky woman spanks the living bejesus out of some pompous Dem in an Iowa AG debate.

As I have said elsewhere, this is an unusual election year, as Tom has not resorted to either suing a tobacco company or warning Iowans about some scam to bilk the elderly. I guess he thinks he can whip Brenna without bothering to trot out the old standbys, but it is sort of sad to have an election season without his tossing out the traditional “same-olds” to the two-legged Iowa cattle.

I met/heard Brenna Findley Monday night and Rep. Steve King on Tuesday night. I was not disappointed.

This little gal took his arrogant question, balled it up, wrapped it in 10 grit sandpaper and shoved it back up his arse.

Brenna is remarkable. I think I recall Gov. Branstad saying that when he met her many years ago, she told him that she wants his job.

Right now, I'm thrilled to have her oust Miller. Branstad has been a huge supporter of hers.
