Yeah, I feel the same way, but it’s hard to tell. When I spoke to CBS (KHOU) they kinda “brushed me off” a bit. So I’m not expecting too much from them. FOX I called last and told them that NBC and CBS were on it, hoping to make them feel like they needed to catch up. We’ll see if it works.
Actually it is a good thing to try and get the local media in on this thing...
I got in to the Harris County DA’s loop and asked them about a separate incident that happened last Monday with a democrat County Commissioner named El Franco Lee...
It was hard to get a read on the DA’s position, obviously because an investigation “may” or “may not” be in work at this time...
But it appears that the accusation of impropriety is not enough to warrant a public revelation of any legal procedings at this particular juncture...
Which means not a damn thing is going to be revealed (or done) until wayyyyyyy after we are done on November 2nd...
Somehow I knew it was a mistake for the local GOP to get behind someone for DA who was only qualified to preside over courtroom procedures (judge), and not someone who had been an Asst. DA for many years investigating and prosecuting major cases for us...
That poo-poo decision certainly has come back to haunt this County...
But what the hell do I know...Right??? ;-)
