It took at least 3 (or more) C-5's to haul the helos and limos! Also, a second 747 usually goes along for backup...

ALSO, Marine One ALWAYS flies with at least two or more “twins” and they play switch constantly for security... and everybody (100’s) is getting a handsome per diem!

Great pictures!
My office is right here at LAX, and we can hear those helicopters taking off and flying overhead.
They did a “test run” on Tuesday, and some of the women here thought the sound was so loud and terrifying that maybe we were being invaded, until I told them what was going on..
