Unless you can get 67 senators to vote for a conviction, there’s no point in impeachment. Impeachment and no conviction would damage the Republican in 2012.
Agreed. We saw how useless impeachment without removal was when the GOP did it to Clinton. Unless there are 67 senators willing to vote for conviction, which translates to at least 70 GOP Senators or more, then there is 0 point to impeachment.
I'd rather a GOP Congress focus on defunding and repealing 0bamacare and reducing the size of government (yes I know both are pipe dreams) than going after 0bama directly since such an attack will fail.
Now, on the other hand, there are going to be some Democrats in the House who can be dealt with quite brutally ~ and 24/7 hearings on Democrat corruption should be the order of the day.
I agree, in retrospect, i don’t think we should have impeached Clinton, but we did not have the knowledge of who was to come. GOP can’t get in the habit of impeaching every Dem president, to the simple minded people don’t understand the complexities of Clinton case, they think it was just the sex part. it was underoath lies that was the reason for impeachment.

As much as I would like for it to happen, you will never get the necessary votes and the net result will be Americans seeing the GOP wasting taxpayers money.
I agree. Issa needs to concentrate on passing laws that will pass constittuional muster limiting Zero (and future Presidents) from playing politics with agencies and the military.
And the practice of recess appointments must be stopped.
also, if the President’s budget is so high that he can have limitless number of Tsars. The budget is to high.
And need I say that The congress has 2 years to make real inroads into reigning in the EPA,EDU,NEA,Interior and all their progeny. And Defunding is the perfect way to stop the madness.

Impeaching Zero will only divert the attention from the goal, and lead to calls from the left of Repubs “wasting” money on Impeachment.

If overwhelming and clear evidence is presented and a majority of American people agree that obuma should be impeached, then those senators voting against conviction on impeachment charges will be politcally dead.
