According to the scientific community upon the discovery of DNA is it literally impossible for all God's children to have come from 'the' Adam and Eve. And Moses records there were two different days of creation. The sixth day and then the 'day' following the seventh. So your attempt to label and impugned for what Moses recorded is NOT lost.
There is NO record of Cain having a twin sister but a twin brother Able which Cain murdered.
Genesis 4:22 says "the sister of Tuval-Qayin was Na`amah." She was thus the daughter of Lamekh, the descendant of Cain. One opinion is that this is the Na`amah that Noach married. Another is that Noach's wife was named Na`amah, but she wasn't the same person as Tuval-Qayin's sister.
Genesis 4:17-23 does indeed give Cain's genealogy, but Genesis 5 gives 'the' Adam's genealogy, and the names are curiously similar but they are not the same.
Wow. Anytime I want to know what the Torah really teaches the first place I go to is the "scientific community." No, really. [/sarcasm]

You obviously don't know anything about the Oral Tradition, and you wouldn't believe it if your "scientists" told you not to anyway, would you?

You're not thinking very deeply, are you?
Genesis 5 gives Adam's descendants through Seth who was born over a hundred years later. Cain's descendants are also descendants of Adam because Cain was Adam's son. See how that works?
There is an opinion that the Na`amah of Genesis 4:22 became Noach's wife. I didn't make that up. Talk to the hand (or your "scientists").

As a Molecular Biologists I am interested in knowing how it would be “impossible”.
According to modern biology all human beings are related through common descent. Moreover, we are, as a species, not very diverse. Two humans on opposite sides of the world are more similar in DNA to each other than two monkeys of the same species are to similar to each other that live on opposite sides of a river.
