Tony Blair's sister-in-law has converted to Islam after having what she describes as a "holy experience" during a visit to Iran.

Journalist and broadcaster Lauren Booth, 43 – Cherie Blair's sister – now wears a hijab whenever she leaves her home, prays five times a day and visits her local mosque whenever she can.

She decided to become a Muslim six weeks ago after visiting the shrine of Fatima al-Masumeh in the city of Qom.

One of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen.

Yes. Read all three books and that was the first thing I thought of when I read the headline.

i think there’s $$ at the root of this - she needs it & the regime is glad to pay her, if she converts & starts being more useful.

Why is it that western converts to islam follow it to the letter. I have lived in the middle east a few years of my life, and most muslims in lebanon with the exception of older women tend to not wear the hijab. Most also drink alcohol, and most certainly dont pray 5 times a day. I find it weird. I feel most may convert because they lack that spirituality maybe in christianity, but they wouldnt if they followed it as closely as they are following islam when they convert.

In religion, the strong drives out the weak. Europe’s descent into paganism makes it ripe for an Islamic takeover. Secular multiculturalism is not sustainable.

America is years away with many more fervent Christians who will be a bulwark against this infiltration. The churches are empty in Europe, and the mosques are packed. A spiritual bankruptcy has occurred and the void will be filled because nature abhors a vacuum.

why should she wear a burkha? That is worn only in Afghanistan.

In Iran, they wear a chador, or wear a scarf and a lose coat/duster over their jeans or long dress.

Yes, there is holiness in Iran and Qom, despite the theocracy, and she was probably impressed.

Alas, there is little holiness in the UK...too bad she didn’t see the Pope when there, or attend a Latin Mass or she probably would be a papist.

[BunnySlippers] She works for Iranian [regime] TV.

They may have been, probably have been working hard on her for quite a while to "flip" her as a high-profile, celebrity target -- very much the way that members of the Scientology cult (which the German government flatly defines as an organized criminal enterprise) goes after Hollywood celebs like John Travolta and Demi Moore.

[Secret Agent Man] That is the look of someone who’s a product of socialist, multicultural public schooling.

[Mad_as_heck] This is the inevitable effect of a hopeless, valueless, society that offers almost nothing ....

"Love-bombing" manipulative techniques can be quite effective on people from the appropriate background, especially people who had no moral grounding when they were growing up.

Contrast the upbringing a kid might receive in an emotionally arid, Marxist-trained philosophy professor's household, versus what he would have received had he grown up with a 360-degree moral grounding in a strongly demonstrative home like the Limbaughs grew up in, where the old man laid down the law but also lived by his own law, and had the Bible to back him up, and 2000 years of Christian teaching and life-witness, 100 generations of teaching by example, to go with it.

America is years away with many more fervent Christians who will be a bulwark against this infiltration.

PBS has a series on, God in America which, along the way to running down religionists as intellectual failed cases and emotional cripples (the atheist materialist imposture), happens to throw out some useful information about e.g. the revival movement in America.

The revivalists' fervor and sincerity survives even the abstracted retelling of the materialists and their dry-as-dust academic Christian collaborators and shines through the narrative.

I think what we see about us daily is still a pre-revival America. The neopagans and materialists haven't seen the real thing yet, not for three or four generations.

” ...probably have been working hard on her for quite a while to “flip” her as a high-profile, celebrity target... “

...and promising her lots of money if she does.
Her husband is disabled, she’s doing tv reality shows cuz she has 2 little girls to support. I think she needs the money and she may have been disillusioned & angry with her christian beliefs. (just my opinion)
Sadly, she’s doing work for a regime that supports terrorism and mistreats women & children.

Very relevant observations. I agree that its a lot like Scientology’s targeting of celebrities. Too bad the monumentally self indulgent don’t just stick to becoming Buddhists like in the good old days....

Please dont make the Serbs sound like victims. They were anything but. The Yugoslav civil war and the bloodshed of 1991-1999 lies mainly at their door. The Serbs behaved like murderous thugs for nearly a decade.

Why are you posting blatant lies? The Serbs are the first victims of the NWO. You are simply an enabler of jihad from the looks of it.

1—I am no liar. The Serbs committed their fair share of atrocities and brutality. Srebrenica anyone?. Like hundreds of millions of Europeans, I watched that war every night for nearly a decade. And only one thing is clear: NONE of the combatants were innocent: the Serbs, Muslims and Croats all committed acts of barbarism.

So to suggest the Serbs were merely victims is a nonsense. The Serbs may have been victims at times but they were also aggressors and killers at others.

2—Enabler of jihad?.

Whats that drivel when its in English?.

Jihad-—You are either for it or against it. By pontificating against the Serbs you show you true stripes.

Got it now buddy...

The rest of your post is drivel plainly. You have been brainwashed by the British media and enablers of jihad.

There are a couple of blatant Serb partisans who "patrol" the Islam- and Yugolav-related threads. You just ran into one of them.
