INDIANAPOLIS -- A heated exchange between party leaders outside an Indianapolis polling place caught the attention of police and onlookers Saturday. According to a police report, Marion County Democratic Party Chairman Ed Treacy, 69, and Republican ward chairman for Warren Township Ernest Shearer, 56, got into a scuffle outside an early voting site at Criminal Court 13 at 9049 E. 10th St.

Neither the headline or the story focus on the fact that a) Dim-wits were breaking election law and b) Dim-wits escalated to violence when confronted with a camera

This is the kind of stuff that needs to be national news.. every single instance of it.

I’m beginning to sense a pattern here.

Al Franken steals a Senate seat, and it’s just all in the game.

The New Black Panthers...Justice department does squat.

First Michelle Obama electioneers, and there is a collective shrug.

Now this, and you can guess what will happen...nada.

I’m afraid it’s going to take something more violent than a shoving match to make people pay any attention to this kind of election rigging.

If it's Carson, my cousin lives on the outer edge near 465 that goes around Indianapolis. In a recent cycle a freeper ran against Carson. The national GOP gave him no support. In one precinct 110% of the people voted. Candidate was in a coma...She died and her grandson now holds the office....same machine.

The report of buses (from the Chicago area) going from one polling place to another has been reported for years. It is one of the reasons that Todd Ricotta/State GOP machine worked so hard to get voter ID passed.

Rumor has been spreading all summer that cameras were going to be out in full force. Expect more of the same before something is done.

THIS VIOLENCE AND TREACHERY HAS TO STOP.

Those thugs have no business in the area and democrats are out of control (duh). The damn party needs a thorough cleansing and if not, it needs to be disbanded. Too damn many criminals are already serving in congress: Alsteen Hastings or whatever his first name *is*, and Barney Frank, to cite two.

I swear, the damn voters in those districts shouldn’t be permitted to vote. They’re as bad as the damn crooks and thugs they elect.

There’s also that damn woman in Texas and I can’t recall her name and also Maxine Waters and Charles Rangel.

The Black Caucus is one nasty bunch of thugs and criminals. Mighty fine representation of black people, aren’t they? I guess so, because their districts are gerrymandered to make certain they’re in black neighborhoods and that sux, big time.

Let good black people run, and they will win. These other black thugs need not apply.

What is really sad is how the good people are controlled. CUZ lives in a very diverse nice neighborhood. Community center, pool, tennis court. Many neighbors are college educated....Hispanic, Asian, AA, Irish, German...the whole American melting pot.

One day she came home and someone had placed yard signs in all their yards. Most were afraid to take them down. They didn’t know who had placed them, who was friend, who was foe...and might do damage to their home. (she accidently^ mowed over hers....several followed)

It been reported more than once that a person goes in to vote and they are told they already voted.

Indianapolis — A Republican activist said he was trying to take photographs of Democrats illegally entering an eastside polling place. Marion County’s top Democrat called it voter intimidation and got in the gadfly’s face. A police report was filed as both parties turn into the home stretch before the November 2nd elections.

Ernie Shearer said he was within his rights to record alleged election violations by Democrat Ed Treacy at the satellite polling site at East 10th Street and Post Road.

“I just thought it was odd that the party chairman was out at the polling site on a Saturday afternoon,” said Shearer. “As Treacy was leaving the building, he started calling me an (deleted), asking me what was I doing taking his picture in a very loud, almost a screaming voice. He was completely out of control like someone on the Jerry Springer Show.”
