LOL. Truer words were never spoken. I was there in 1978 in the USAF. Those guys LOVE their jobs and they are very, very good at it.

I was there for three years as an MP officer, so I got front row seats to a lot of demonstrations where the KNP would be outside the fence, and we'd be just inside.

Some of the best shows were at Dankook University, which was just across the road from Hannam Village, a leased US family housing community for NCOs and junior officers on accompanied tours.

On one occasion a group of bandana-wearing students lobbed a lit molotov at a formation of KNP. By some miracle of glass, asphalt and physics, the bottle didn't shatter, but skittered along the pavement toward the KNP. One of the officers merely stopped it with his boot, picked it up, and threw it right back at the group of students who quickly scurried away from the point of impact...
