Michele Kalina will be charged today with 5 counts of homicide. The Berks County District Attorney will hold a news conference this afternoon. Updates to follow.

Bodies of 3 babies were found in plastic containers while a 4th was found in a paper bag. Yet a 5th body was found in a landfill in New Morgan.

Yep. If these babies were still in the womb, you wouldn’t have heard a word about it because she wouldn’t have to face any consequences (at least not on earth).
Sounds like she and her boyfriend couldn’t be bothered with birth control, had five babies, and killed them all. Post-birth abortions.
Her daughter notified the police. Can you imagine a young girl living in a house like that? It doesn’t say how old the daughter is, but what a horrible thing for any daughter to have to go through.

The article states that the authorities still don’t know if the children were born alive or aborted.
She may yet be guilty of no more than violation of a State monopoly.
This was reported last July, the woman has been in jail for three months, and they still don’t know what happened? Did they try doing autopsies?
Peter Singer says that's OK ... and he's an "ethicist" at Princeton University, so he must be right.

That’s kind of what I was thinking. If they cannot prove “how” they died, then she might skate because they can’t prove that she killed them.
The ace in the hole is probably the daughter and the woman’s boyfriend. I happen to think that the boyfriend’s name should be front and center if he knew what was going on.
