This is exactly the sort of rhetoric that makes any compromise on the illegal immigration issue absolutely impossible. The Hispanic immigrant community needed to try and sell itself to non-Latino Americans not poison the well of discourse with hate. Now its too late for a good ending for either side.
Obama is one the greatest haters in the world. He’s the ugliest man to ever appear on the scene in America’s history. All he does is smash, attack, undermine, destroy. That’s all leftists do. His legacy will be an America more racially polarized than before the civil rights movement.
Whites came to realize in the 1960s and 1970s that we needed to give other American their fair shake. White people’s guilt has lasted for a long time but is being rapidly used up. If Blacks and Latino can be violent, abusive, ugly racists white bigotry can not be held back forever. The world just doesn’t work like that.
We are now fighting a VERY uphill battle to make Martin Luther King’s dream of a color blind America a reality. Breaks my heart. I think of mighty men like Frederick Douglass that sacrificed so much to give us the opportunities we’re squandering and I want to say to them: “I’m just so very sorry. We’ve let you down so much.”
