I’ll throw my dream scenario out so everyone can tell me how crazy I am. I’m hoping for 112 just in the House. That would give us a veto-proof majority in the House. If that happens, I think we pick up 12-13 in the Senate. Then we start working on the 20+ Dem senators who are up for re-election in 2012 & try to co-opt them into voting with us to repeal Obamacare.

Talk is cheap, but for people who are putting real money on the line, the consensus is 57, per Intrade.
Anything remotely close to this number would be great because it would mean that the freshmen would have incredible clout within the party. Means committee selections would have many more true conservatives and fewer rinos. Certainly a win-win scenario.

I’ve been saying 111 seats for past 3 weeks and possibly as many as 117.
I hope we hit 100 though.
