(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama repeatedly has called the United States a “big, messy Democracy" in his many campaign stops around the country in recent weeks.
“I know that a lot of times people wonder, gosh, you know, why did it take -- why did health care take so long [to pass]?” Obama said at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) fundraiser in a private home in Providence, R.I on Monday. “Well, this is not a monarchy we live in. This is a democracy. And it’s a big, messy democracy.
“And there’s supposed to be debate, and there’s supposed to be contentiousness, and it’s supposed to be hard to make big changes,” Obama said.
On Oct. 21, The Oregonian reported on Obama's trip to the state to stump for Oregon’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate, John Kitzhaber: "I told you during the campaign it was going to be hard," Obama said on Oct. 20. "Some of you didn't believe me. This is a big, messy democracy and the special interests won't go down without a fight, and sometimes it can wear you down."
The president also used that description at an Oct. 23 DCCC fund-raiser in Minneapolis: “And so, yes, things don't happen as quickly as we want; they’re not always as smooth as people would want,” Obama said. “This is a big, messy democracy. That’s the nature of America. It’s always been that way.”
In an interview with New York Times reporter Peter Baker on Oct. 12, Obama once again used the expression to defend what his administration has accomplished in the two years since he was sworn in as president.
''I make no apologies for having set high expectations for myself and for the country, because I think we can meet those expectations,'' Obama said. ''Now, the one thing that I will say -- which I anticipated and can be tough -- is the fact that in a big, messy democracy like this, everything takes time. And we're not a culture that's built on patience.''
High expectations for the country are envisioning how we can perform an abortion on this grievous error! Clean out the White Hut and return this imbecilic communist-muslim to the sewers of Chicago or the grass huts of Kenya!

Well, at least he's got part of this right. We are not a monarchy, but we're also not supposed to be a democracy. Democracies are exactly as he describes them, big, messy. This is one of the many reasons our founding documents, if we actually followed them, made us a Republic.
And its about to get a lot messier for you pal.
The mistake needs to be removed, along with his retinue, from the White Hut!
