With the people that will likely be in charge should the GOP take control, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. Washington is a "company town", and those inside the Beltway are all about protecting D.C. first, regardless of party affiliation. We'll need a lot more Tea Partiers/conservatives to get things going in the right direction. Tuesday is only a start.

At some point, all the ‘employees’ are going to be dragged kicking and screaming out. Fresh blood will go in, through votes, at worst gunpoint. The Tea Party is the eruption of an enraged citizenry. Thankfully it’s like a volcano, first blow up, then the spreading of the lava over everything. It’s spreading beyond affiliation and at some point, it’ll scorch earth the capital.
