“Assault” is a stretch, IMO.
Looked like a assualt to me. No telling what she was going to do. Let her try that with Obama and see what happens.
“Assault is a stretch, IMO.”
Actually, legally it could constitute an assault:

I had heard about a woman getting “stomped” on the neck and when I found the video, I thought I had found the wrong one. When I found out that IS the one everyone is talking about, I was amused.
You should get out more often.
What I wonder is what she did with her pistol or grenade between the window event and her later rush at the candidate after he was out of the car.
Remember what we are dealing with here ~ this is a Democrat who is employed by an extremist wing of the party. They are all known to be affiliated with mad bombers ~ and I don't mean just Obama's friend, but AlGore's friend and Bill Clinton's FRIENDS.
They must be considered to be armed and dangerous when in the vicinity of any candidate for public office.
The expected reply from a moonbat.
Just look up the definitions of "assault," and the separate definition for "battery."
I agree with that. As someone who also wears glasses I suspect that the incident was staged by Move On. I believe that they had a camera on her and were pretending to knock her to the ground without really hardly touching her. If people were really shoving her to the ground like that she would have had her glasses knocked off and hit the ground much harder.
The only unplanned thing was probably the man that put his foot on her shoulder and pushed down on her.
You notice that everybody else instantly withdrew and someone yelled "Oh come on" when that happened?
This was a publicity stunt by Move on IMHO.
She shoved a hard-edged sign through the window at the candidate sitting in his seat in the car.
If the signed touched him, that’s battery. The act of coming AT The car with the sign, regardless of whether she actually hits him with it, is assault.
