Rove will kick himself to the curb, then oblivion if he keeps messing with Sarah.

Only a child like troll would ask such a question about such serious politics, by such a powerful anti-conservative political leader on this conservative forum, as he strikes against his own party to get at us and stop our movement, and to weaken our gains in an election 6 days from now.

Like the poster said, Rove needs to go now, he needs to be driven from the GOP, shaping a party and it’s leadership is part of what political activism is and here at freerepublic, that is our mission as conservatives, you should look into it and switch sides to conservatism.

Rove knows that there is always millions to be made from the left, even if conservatives do defeat him and his.

There will always be a Romney/Rockefeller wing of the GOP, we have some on this very thread.

I wonder with whom he has contracted to assist in the next election. I’ll bet it is not Sarah Palin. So who would hire Rove to do the dirty work?

Maybe he's trying to damage the candidates he objects to, but you'd think he'd have learned to keep his mouth shut after his trashing of Christine O'Donnell.

The RinoDem party is trying to contain its losses.

Rove is starting his sabotage of conservatives earlier. Guess he believes he will be more successful at it that way.

These people are our enemies. As much as the Democrats, Rove and the RINOs are our enemies. They despise conservatism. They are in fact quite willing to assist Dems in fighting off conservatives. This is an example of how they provide aid to the enemy.

So many words, none of which explain why Rove should not have his own opinion.

It's not a matter of Rove having his own opinion, but a matter of why this supposed Republican, who supposedly wants Republican candidates to win, why does he chose to trash Republican candidates who don't meet his personal approval, candidates who are winning, or gaining support, and are or might be on the party ticket against Dims?

Besides opinions, Rove has a huge ego problem and throws childish hissy fits when the great unwashed ignore his sage advice. He is damaging the Republican party and that is his intent when supporters don't make the choices he thinks they should make.

Fox News should stop giving this underminer a platform.

Rove is also likely working for either Romney or one of the other RINO hacks who want to run for president.

Rove, Bush, etc. are decent well intentioned men but they saw the chessboard from too high a perch. Down here in the mud things are looking ugly.

Agreed. And it does look very ugly. I am glad that I live in fly-over country in the middle of the Big Nothing. Country boys can survive. Now how do we see to it that the nation does? It is time to kick A$$ and take names and FIX this mess without DC's guidance.

I loved the series, and he was made to quit it, because it was seen as an unfair campaign advantage.

It fits the Romney and Huckabee MO to a tee- send out the hounds to do your own barking but remain ‘above the fray’.

I don't know, but Fox News should fire him as a commentator and stop providing him a platform. He's not a commentator, but a free lancing political operative with an agenda.

It just astonishes me that a_holes like Rove don’t wait until Nov. 3 to start this. Whose side are they on?

It is well past time to get down to cases with Karl. Sarah Palin has had more real world business and political successes than GW had had at a comparable time in his governing career. She is every bit a qualified to sit in the oval office as Bush was in 2000.

Humble, you look tired, even a little pale.

Perhaps you should consider a 6 day vacation. Someplace in the mountains overlooking a beautiful lake. Maybe a warm beach with lot’s of great looking ladies around. Heck, if you made it to my place, I’d be more than happy to take you out on my boat... and pick you back up....... in 6 days.

Think about it, Humble, and always remember, I’m here to help you.

Rove was such a genius that he lost the popular vote in 2000, saw the Senate flip during his first year as Chief of Staff, lost the House in ‘06, all while supporting bigger Government and Amnesty. Now, because of this “genius”, who was so good he helped his President to an approval rating in the 20’s, we have Obama.

Now this Genius and ultimate Washington insider is going to help Romney the way he helped the former President? Fine with me.

--------------------------

I agree.

Mr. Rove, you had your eight years, nobody needs to hear you today. We see clearly where were headed.
