Just the other day on FR (where I mostly read) there was something about Geithner met 0thugga when he was a kid. In Indonesia, apparently the Geithner family was living there for a while. I have no freaking idea what thread it was on; I think it was info quoted in the thread. Maybe LucyT remembers or knows? It was very recently, like the last week or two?

As it happens, Geithner’s father, Peter, at one point oversaw a program developed by Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham Soetoro, when she worked for the Ford Foundation in Indonesia. The two met at least once in Jakarta, according to the foundation.
