Reminds me of an old Soviet joke. A supercomputer that claims to answer any question is presented to Khrushchev. He asks it “When will we have true communism?” The computer says “one thousand miles”. Puzzled, Khrushchev asks “What kind of answer is that?” The computer responds, “you said each year is one step closer to communism!”
But why didn't you tell people it was going to get much worse instead of a little better?
