Wis. paid $150K in prison sex case (Projectile vomit warning)

A Wisconsin prison guard allegedly coerced male inmates into letting him give them oral sex in exchange for bringing them contraband, and his superiors initially failed to stop the assaults despite warning signs, according to previously confidential records obtained by The Associated Press.

Now the Wisconsin Department of Corrections' handling of the three-year-old case involving Prairie du Chien Correctional Institution guard James Trentin is costing taxpayers money.

The state this year paid $150,000 to avoid a lawsuit by a former inmate who says Trentin gave him oral sex four times, according to documents obtained by the AP under Wisconsin's open records law. Four other inmates also told investigators they received oral sex or were inappropriately touched.

Trentin maintains his innocence, but a department investigation found evidence of the assaults. A prosecutor also said he is convinced they occurred, though charges were dropped in a plea bargain the prosecutor says may have been a mistake in hindsight.

Oral sex AND $150,000.

The guard told one inmate "he reminded him of his son."

I need another shower.

So the guard assumes a position of submission?

Welcome to the deviant homosexual sub-culture where nothing is normal. Celebrate diversity!

"I think this is a memory they are going to carry for the rest of their lives," said Chris Kuchinski, the prison supervisor who investigated the assaults.

Aren't we all mate, aren't we all.

This story doesn’t sound like “assault” but it does point out two important issues. Prison guards are corrupt and way too much sexual misconduct—including rape—goes on in prisons. If ever there was an “issue” that the government should focus on, its cleaning up prisons. People take it as a given that guards smuggle in drugs and contraband, have grudges that they take out on inmates, and that inmates treat each other brutally—attacks, rapes. Instead of half the nonsense federal and state governments spend money on, they should focus on this.

Isn’t this anti-gay? How can the state insist that a gay sex act is so bad that a person deserves money when they agreed to the act?

This is horrible, but nothing compared to what a King County (Seattle) Superior court judge was doing to young boys in the State of Washington many years ago.

Where’s the video? No security cameras?

IF true, where is the problem? It’s natural right? Just another lifestyle choice right? Consenting adults, right?

The guard didn’t even need to be in the cell with the prisoner. Safe sex?

Given his authority over them, that would make this forced prostitution.
It is no more acceptable to do this to male prisoners than it is with female prisoners.

Hopefully the officer will be charged with sex trafficking as well as assault and drug distribution.

Ping for Moral absolutes and Homosexual agenda.
