You presume that "bringing the economy back" is the purpose of his policies.

I doubt this guy even remembers today what he said yesterday. He is so programmed to talk he just spews out what somebody puts in front of him... Some day maybe he can become a ‘news’ reader.
Be that as it may, Hoover was blamed for the Great Depression and FDR credited for getting us out. The result was that the Dems esssentially controlled Congress with a few exceptions for the next 60 years. Obama is trying to cast himself as the next FDR blaming Bush as the next Hoover. The GOP needs to go after Obama as Hoover not FDR.

I know that, I was just being sarcastic. Every time I think of how people accused W of being “arrogant” because of his “cowboy walk”. I can’t help but compare it to that droopy bunch of sad sacks.
Funny, I had the same thought. They need to get their suits pressed and (I think) the trousers hemmed. They just looked sloppy to me...
