My son is presently in the Engineering program at A&M. Hopefully this is a mistake but I’ll guarantee you there are more than a few armed students at A&M.
Newphews = nephews.
Maybe it’s like the one the other day that turned out to be a NERF gun .....
What do they tell the students if a tornado's coming - to lock and load?!

Actually, there were several people with their hunting rifles keeping the shooter at bay while local officials tracked him down and shot him.
Just went through this with my daughter who goes to UT.

Many people who ran home, got their guns and came back to keep the perp's head down long enough for someone to go up and kill him. Who knows how many lives they saved, as they prevented him from shooting anybody else for quite a while.
Of course, today they'd all be arrested for bringing a weapon on campus, discharging a firearm within city limits, and violating noise ordinances.
