When a cop pulls out his cuffs you HAVE to put your arms out and shut your mouth.
You CANNOT talk your way out of it.
Anything else just comes up and makes things even worse in court after you have had your ass beaten.

One can ask “why am I being arrested?”

One can ask to call one’s attorney... although the police say “you have a right to on attorny” etc. when they read you your “Miranda” rights.

One of those rights, of course, is that you don’t have to(upon interrogation)say ANYTHING to them.
