As the electoral wave ap proaches, pundits and news analysts have morphed into meteorologists, reading the complex undercurrents that will merge and swamp Democratic politicians nationwide on Tuesday. They're all concentrating on the Republicans.

One group says the motive force is a school of rich Republican sharks swimming together in secret even though everybody knows who they are. Another says a conservative sleeping giant has been roused like Poseidon from the depths to which it had fallen in despair in 2008. A third says disgruntled moderates are directing the tides, and so Tea Partiers better sit down and stop rocking the boat.

Pointless.

This election isn't about how much money Republicans raised (less than Democrats, actually, but still a huge amount). It's not about Tea Party activism, important though that populist force is proving to be. And it's not about how Republicans succeeded in appealing to moderates.

This is an election about Barack Obama. It's a referendum on him and his party.

It isn't about the Republicans. They're not being anointed.

Obama and the Democrats are being scourged.

We are interested in simply Stop Obama! By any means. Even if it electing Republicans.

To me this election represents the American public coming to Washington DC with pitchforks and torches to evict this anti-American president (and his party that defied the people). He has deliberately bankrupted us based on some assinine notion that America is not something for the rest of the world to look up to. How wrong Obama (and his czars) are, will be demonstrated on Nov 2.

Obama needs to be impeached. Immediately after the election!

Yes, and the leftist Obama movement anticipated it. This election is merely the opening salvo in a battle for the freedom of the people against liberal fascism.

Scourged? We will not rest until the fascist Obama movement is UTTERLY destroyed. Phase 2 of the Obama fascist war against America is about to begin, the abuse of executive orders using pre planned poison seeded legislation packets placed throughout laws Obama has already passed, such as this one:

The elites run both parties, and always will
That's good when the elites are men of principle, with values, and with high morals.

If the Tea Party Tsunami results in a bunch of Republicans going to Washington and finding out that it's fun and profitable to make common cause with Democrats and fund bigger government, then we will find ourselves in a situation where electing better people is not a viable solution.

The mystery is why the Democrats aren’t running on their record - and the President isn’t reminding the country of it.

As they’re finding out you can’t beat something with nothing. All they have to offer is fear and hate.

If the Republican Party behaves the way it behaved for much of the last decade, it will be out for a long time to come.

Voters expect the Party to do what it can to reduce the size of government, cut taxes and stop Obamacare. It shouldn’t be cowed by Obama’s veto. Let him veto! Force him to show the American people what side he is on. Use the legislative process to define him.

This is not the time to be bipartisan and cooperate with the Democrats. If GOP leaders do that, they will have their behinds handed to them by the voters in 2012.

If you’re going to be conservative, act like you are!

It is about voting NO. In this election and the last one, I voted AGAINST more people than FOR them. I voted against Obama, certainly not “for” McCain, I voted AGAINST Graham and don’t even know his opponent’s name. I voted AGAINST Joe Wilson because he voted for TARP. (This year I’m voting for him because of the YOU LIE outburst!) Funny, elections used to be about what you “wanted”, now they are about what you “don’t want!”
