Call it Chuck Todd's Profile In Pusillanimity . . .
Given a chance to express his personal opinion of White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, Todd--NBC's chief WH correspondent--mumbled, stuttered, stumbled and ultimately punted, saying it was "an awkward thing."
Chuck's duck-and-cover came during a segment devoted to analyzing Gibbs in light of a GQ article about him by Robert Parker, who appeared on the show. After Parker, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough gave their brief takes on Gibbs, Scarborough offered the floor to Todd . . . who proceeded to give his best deer-in-the-headlights impersonation.

This would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic. Watch Chuck Todd stutter, stumble and ultimately punt when asked to give his opinion of Robert Gibbs. Ping to Today show list.
Todd is a disgusting shill for the commies. It’s clear that both he and the commie pixie Savannah Guthrie don’t really like Gibbs, but he’s part of the politboro, and it’s not wise to attack a party member.
I want to know what Juan Williams has to say about Robert Gibbbs.
Chuck Todd looks like the dangerous stranger mommy warned us about
If a FoxNews guy or gal (reporter, that is, not an opinionator) had done a similar thing about a pubby press secretary the NY Times et al would still be hollering about it.
The guy calls himself a journalist what a joke. The bigger joke is that he was once with Hotline/National Journal!
The Non partisan National Journal is about as non partisan as I am. So lets please but that to rest right now.
Ron Brown stain formerly of the LA Times is now with the NG.
Chuck Todd and MSNBC/NBC are a joke and so is the National Journal, and all the “non partisan” outfits, from the non partisan budget office to the pollster that claims to be non partisan, name slips my mind at the moment.
Now that image is seared in my memory when their commercial comes on.
A perfect promo for msnbc would be “Lean Forward” soap-on-a-rope.
:)
My mouth has remained opened since watching it this morning. Samantha’s adding ‘we have to work with the guy’ says it all!
Hilarious. Some one should cut it down to just his Three-Stooges like reaction. Aaaaeeeaaheeaheee. I like how he pivots onto Bush 43.
I always thought Chuck Todd WAS Robert Gibbs.
I always thought that the perfect SAB photo (Separated at Birth, for those in Rio Linda) is:
F. Chuck Todd and Rick Warren
