He had a rough go of it last time, but Rudy Giuliani just told me at City Hall at his portrait unveiling that "the door's not closed" on the possibility of him running for president again in 2012

He ran a very lackluster campaign. I’m not a big Rudy basher, but with the showing he gave in 2008, I think he just needs to hang it up. Beside Palin, I hope none of that old batch pops up again. Let’s get some new blood up there. I’m not totally sold on Palin, so I’m hoping she runs but some very credible others do too.

Go ahead and run. The economy could use the campaign $$$$ going into it.

Just don’t pack your bags. You won’t make it to the White House.

Sorry, Charlie uhhh Gullie

The door is closed on Romney too. Romney care dooms him to not be a legit candidate this time.

The GOP legit candidates include: Palin, Daniel, Pawlenty and that is about it so far.

If Rudy runs, he needs a much better campaign strategy than he used in 2008.

My thought was also somewhere in DOJ.

I thought maybe Mark Levin replacing Holder also. Someone who can read and understand what he is reading.

I thought Rudy might make a good one to lead the trial lawyers ... he had over 4,000 convictions with only a handful of reversals. Possible he should lead in making enforcement a priority.

Rudy, it IS closed.

Now take your RINO, gun-grabbing, gay-loving, pro-death (for the innocent, that is), inner-city big-gov Nanny/Police-State dictatorial ass home and STFU.

Are we CLEAR on this numnuts?

VEEP?!

The ONLY place RINO-rudy belongs in politics (above dog-catcher, that is) with an "R" next to his name, is in some God-Forsaken left-wing or left-leaning hell-hole of a city or state in a Progressive/Marxist Peoples Republic that requires a little dictator to enforce the elitists Nanny/Police-State will, you know, like NYC, Boston, Chicago, California, Mass, etc.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Bad idea.

It makes far more sense to expose any Rooty Rooters that might be left.

To: Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!; All

Question: He’s smart, a good manager, and in a sense, was a precursor of the Cris Cristie style of confrontation with the unions and the bloated bureaucracy. He’s a fiscal conservative, so is there any position in a GOP administration, e.g. Cabinet , that you could see him be efective? I’d happily take him for Homeland Security.

I have lived in NYC for the last 40 years and there was never a better mayor than Rudy. His strong leadership and attention to detail really cleaned up NYC in a very visual and visceral way. You could see the improvements and you could sense the changes. The statistics on the reduction in crime during his time as Mayor are well documented but, more than that, there was a true sense of law and order in NYC and for the first time in my life people were actually leaving car doors and house doors unlocked because there was a genuine sense that sanity had returned and chaos was running scared. We walked around feeling like the good people were winning. I know many people who loved Giuliani for what he was doing well before September 11. His leadership in that tragedy was a blessing on NYC.

However, he is clearly not a Constitutional Conservative and for that I can never vote for him to be President. This nation cannot tolerate another big-government politician in the White House whether he is a Progressive Republican or Socialist Democrat.

I am fully confident that Rudy Giuliani would make a superb 83rd Attorney General of the United States. In fact I do not believe there is a man in this country better suited for that position right now.
