The difference may turn out to be the likes of Rove etc. dissing Christine.

Yes, Tokyo Rove deserves the rath of all conservatives.

One more hard attack ad on Coons, followed by a visionary, positive closing argument ad.

Pour every cent into this coming weekend, Christine. Make them sweat!

So do I. Big time! I am gonna be sitting in front of my polling place before they open the door. That is how anxious and excited I am about voting this time.
If Palin hadn’t been on the presidential ticket, I am not even sure I would have voted at all last time.
Toomey in PA this time...and I ALSO think O’Donnell is gonna scare the bejeepers out of the WHOLE establishment when she wins in DE.
I PRAY for this.

She drew the attention of the mostly-Democrat Big Media, the leftist bloggers, and everyone else on the left away from other races... They were so busy laughing at her, that they stopped paying attention to Sharon Angle

I completely agree. She took the brunt of the criticism for the Tea Party. The Libs put most of their efforts into ridiculing and defeating her. In the meantime, the rest of the TP actually gained support! Who knows where this will go for her personally, but she is this election cycles Sarah Palin. That said, she might just pull it out in the end.

If Coons loses this, the Schadenfreude on the left, and in the Major Media, will be a sight to behold!!!

Naw, it'll be in small print on page B23.

Post #23. Great analysis. I’d rather here your take as a fox talking head. Than Charles K.

“Naw, it’ll be in small print on page B23.”

Right. They’re going to have plenty of wounds to lick...and this would hugely add to that. When a wounded RAT is licking its wounds, it does so on page B23 - you are correct...

I don’t know what it is, but SOMETHING specific catalyzed this surge. Whatever it is, COD needs to keep it up and maybe... just maybe... she can whittle the difference to the MOE.

Then we have a real dogfight to the end...

And it’ll be all about turnout.

Go, Christine!

“Lets not cluck like chickens before they’re born. Or lets not hatch our chickens after plucking them. Or something like that.”

RINO Mike Castle gone. Victory.

The rats were supposed to win this by 25 and COs down by about 10, mebbe, after an artillery style shelling for the past 6 weeks by the dying propagandist media and deflecting their attention from 5 or 6 other fairly close Senate races around the country? Victory.

O’Donnell pulls it out after a last minute personal slam by the liberal SMEAR machine. PRICELESS.

Here is my opinion is what Christine O’Donnell (COD) needs to have happen (the perfect storm) to win in the Delaware Senate race (based on realism and not fantasy and on the current events over the last two weeks):

1) The Gawker story has to arouse the passions of undecided WOMEN (many of them moderates) who either were truly on the fence or not going to vote at all to instead come out and vote for COD (the Nikki Haley scenario in the SC primaries).

2) Pete DuPont endorsement has to sway at least 5%-10% of the Republicans (Castle supporters) who were going to sit out the election or write in Mike Castle as a protest vote or going to vote for Coons.

3)Because of the Meeks episode in Florida, blacks in Delaware do not come out and vote or vote for the GOP as a protest vote.

4)Rush just announced Obama is going back to Delaware tomorrow. Will he screw up again? (GOP has to sit on the back of the bus).

5) The weather forecast comes to fruition-awful weather depresses Democratic turnout.

6)In Delaware, the enthusiasm gap between GOP and Dem voters nationwide as projected by Gallup at +15 for the GOP (55%-40%)is similar or even better.

7)COD gets over 90% of the conservative vote and 85% of the GOP vote at least.

8)Sarah Palin visit over the weekend inspires the voters to turn out for COD and tips the balance in her favor.

9) Perception by Delaware voters that they might as well be part of the “GOP wave” as well.

10) Divine intervention

“And if she does win, we had better never, ever, EVER hear the words “but X can’t win because he/she is a conservative” again!!!!”

Or even if it’s within the Margin of Rove Error...

being down by 10 points is a “surge”?

I want her to win, but being down 10 is usually a sign of a loser. :(

Rove’s actions against O’Donnell clearly show who side he is really on. This MD election is of the utmost important to him and he exposed himself. He earned his title as B^*stard!

Christine said last night on Hannity that Coons had cancelled his appearance in the last two Debates. Hey Christine: Put an empty chair there with his name and go ahead and have the debate.

That's what happened in NM last night. The incumbent Democrat in NM-2, Teague, backed out of a statewide-TV debate with challenger and former congressman Steve Pearce. Steve was left to answer every question they threw at him and showed why he should be a winner on Tuesday (excepting Rat fraud). He knows his material and did exceptionally well. I guess the heat in the kitchen was just too much for Teague.

I believe she’s leading by enough to make the left panic. If she was down by 10 points, the White House wouldn’t be changing plans and campaigning for Coons this weekend. Obama’s trip to Delaware isn’t even on the White House schedule, but it’s planned he’s going to Delaware to campaign with Coons. He hasn’t bothered to do that ‘til now.
