“Maybe, but I think Obama/Democrats poll far better on national security than they do on the economy. Actually, they might even be polling quite well on national security and terrorism.”

Wrong.

Rasmussen Monday, October 18, 2010

Republicans continue to be trusted more on national security issues and the war on terror, with 49% of voters trusting the GOP versus 39% who trust the Democrats more.

The economy continues to be the most important issue on voters’ minds this election, and 49% place their trust in Republicans to handle this issue. Thirty-nine percent (39%) trust Democrats more.

Longbow1969 as usual pulling for the Dems. Every comment of his disses conservatives and supports Dems or leftist crap. I wonder why....

Good point then, thanks for the information. I had thought Terrorism/Nat'l Security was one of their bright spots. Historically I know defense issues were always the weakest area for Democrats, but I had thought they closed that gap some. Apparently not.

So long as this terror threat doesn't help them I am happy.
