Sounds, to me, like there is no event. Stewart just wanted to tie up the venue on the weekend before the elections so no horrible Republicans could hold one of their obnoxious rallies.

Funny thing is, that it could absolutely be possible that it MIGHT even be true! The irony here is, all the people who might have gone there on their own, paid for their own gas, food and lodging (I know, it is the Tea Partyers who do that, not the skulls-full-of-mush liberals being bussed in) would simply be tools for a harebrained scheme like that. Useful idiots, all.

If it were true there really wasn't going to be a rally, that it was done to pre-empt any conservative rally before the election, that would be funny, ironic and illustrative. I wish it were true.
