I did my PhD research and dissertation on the biological effects of 2,3,7,8-tetrachloro-p-dioxin. That is what is most often meant when “dioxin” is mentioned. I would NEVER drink the stuff!

Dioxin poisoning was responsible for the disfigurement of Victor Yushchenko back in 2004 during the Ukrainian presidential election.

Dioxin isn’t the overwhelming threat that the EPA claims, but it isn’t benign, either.
