Union members in Maryland were threatened with punishment if they didn't campaign for Democratic candidates or volunteer as poll watchers, according to an email obtained exclusively by Fox News.
The email was sent to members of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, requesting volunteers to walk in a parade with Democratic Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulksi and Gov. Martin O'Malley.
Their participation was also requested on Nov. 2 to work election polls.

Volunteer as a poll watcher, but report any violations to the Republican party.
AFSCME and SEIU are BOTH continuously funded by YOU....if you are a taxpayer....as they are "government employees", aka, parasites who are earning by handing out tax money to pay their salaries and benefits AND to pay for the Union dues that are funneled then back to the DNC, to hire even MORE employees on the taxpayers' dime.....

I know a bit about human nature. Overtly you (if you are one of the members) can not do things to counter authorities, but people will find little ways to take their revenge to vent their spleen.

What I would LOVE to see happen, (but most likely never will) is the government disband all public sector unions. If you accept a job with any government entity you should forfeit your right to unionize.
Yeah I’m predicting civil war within the unions with union bosses being the primary targets.

These are our public “servants,” who are paid about twice as much as we are in salary and cushy benefits with money taken by force out of our paychecks.
This union should be banned, along with all government unions. Whoever heard of “servants” being unionized anyway?
Doesn’t seem like a very wise move for the rank and file to get involved like this.
Afterall, if they are career civil servants, don’t they want to maintain amicable relations with the political class, regardless of who wins the election?
I’ve always thought there was a lot to the Hatch Act, which minimizes political involvement of non-political appointees.

I would think this is criminal. You can’t threaten someone to support a candidate they oppose.
So Patriots in 1776 left their families and their farms or businesses to fight for freedom knowing they could be killed in battle or hanged for treason if captured, and these union members are threatened with . . . GASP . . . losing their Election Day Holiday?????? Have we really fallen that far and become that soft?
It is already happening, just not in the public eye yet.
